Wowhead now in German

Amazing tool for game localization

Database sites for the big MMOs are nothing new, and they can already be a very powerful tool for game translators. The site Wowhead is one of the best out there, easy navigation and additional tools let players of World of Warcraft find their next upgrade in weapons, armor or enchants.

Wowhead is now available in German, Spanish, French and Russian, and fortunately, the site structure allows easy English to German cross-referencing. Like Wikipedia, one of today’s most used “dictionaries,” Wowhead allows searching for an English term, changing the site’s language will lead to the German target. Runed Dagger of Solace will become Runenverzierter Dolch des Trosts.
